Town Centre Activities (TCA) Ltd was founded in April 2010. While it works closely with North Lanarkshire Council and Police Scotland, it is a separate social economy company in its own right – limited by guarantee and with charitable status. It is guided by a board of directors made up of five partner and six independent directors.TCA Ltd delivers a range of services in the communities and town centres of North Lanarkshire, but has the expertise, infrastructure and ambition to expand its scope beyond the region.

Public safety is at the core of what we do. TCA Safe is one of the largest providers of public space CCTV in Scotland, monitoring over 1000 cameras and working closely with police and local council officers to detect and prevent crime, making your community and town centre a safer, more pleasant and more profitable place.


TCA Local offers support and guidance to town centres, with a dedicated team looking after its portfolio of locations. Our team tailor services for each town centre and individual businesses. They also deliver a range of engaging events throughout the year to promote town centres.

TCA Accessible provides Shopmobility services in Coatbridge and Motherwell. These caring, professional services are available to anyone with a mobility problem, whether temporary or long-term, giving visitors of all ages the independence and mobility to enjoy shopping and socialising in town centres.

TCA have a fantastic opportunity for 2 x Digital Ambassdors to join their digital and social media support team. If you like working with emerging internet this is the opportunity for you.

You will be part of the digital team supporting local independent businesses across Lanarkshire, using your initiative to promote and attract all types of customers to grow their digital strategy and benefit the end user’s business in the Lanarkshire area. If you like working with digital and emerging internet and web technologies, this is the opportunity for you. You will be taught and have a passion to learn all emerging internet technologies relating to web sites and social media for business. You must have experience with Microsoft packages, customer service environments, feel comfortable with social media platforms, have a can-do attitude and willing to learn and develop new skills.

Key roles will be:

  • Regular client visits, establishing relationships within the community.
  • Creating analytical reports for the businesses.
  • Monitoring and directing all marketing and promotional resources.
  • Assisting both Line managers and Managing directors throughout the business.
  • Inputting data to relevant systems and assisting in the collation of information.
